Excursion to Ouzoud Falls - From Marrakech
A perfect escape from the bustling Marrakech to the Ouzoud Cascades on a full-day sightseeing tour, this beautiful day trip takes you to the Ouzoud waterfalls which constitute one of the most spectacular natural wonders in Morocco. Leaving Marrakech, you will enjoy a scenic drive through the Berber countryside with stops along the way to take pictures and admire the landscapes. The surrounding countryside of Ouzoud offers stunning scenery and you will appreciate a short walk to discover the surroundings areas, and if you are lucky you will catch a glimpse of some Barbary macaque monkeys playing around.
Located in a plush valley, within friendly Berber villages are three beautiful tiered waterfalls with a series of spectacular wide to narrow plunges that drop 100 metres into the river below. Here you will have the opportunity to discover the network of great paths through a green valley and shady orchards of olive trees leading to the basins below the cascades. After the short hike, you will enjoy a tasty lunch at a local restaurant offering panoramic views of Ouzoud Falls. Around 3:00 pm we leave the Cascades of Ouzoud and embark on a three-hour drive back to Marrakech.
