When going for a camel trek into the Sahara desert, the overnight stay will be tented camp style. Mobile tented camping is the most practical option to discover some of Morocco’s most breathtaking scenery and wilderness areas. With us you will camp in very comfortable and spacious tents equipped with comfortable mattresses with sleeping bags and pillows. Camping in tents allows you to enjoy brightly star-lit nights out in the open air, experiencing moments of real pleasure discovering the spectacular night skies and constellations of the Sahara desert.

This camel trek involves hiking between 4 to 5 hours daily over a variety of terrain from hard rock desert to soft sand dunes. On our camel treks, usually guests walk while the pack camels carry food, drinking water, camping and personal equipment and sleeping bags, as well as any luggage that may be needed along the trip. Although, you are welcome to ride the camels as much as you like. So, it is only necessary to carry a small daypack with daily essentials such as water bottle and camera.
