This trip into the Sahara desert and South Morocco can be undertaken all year round. The best time of the year is from October until early May. July and August, are the hottest months in the Sahara desert. Winter and Autumn can be perfect by day in the south, though desert nights can get cold – a major consideration if you are planning to stay in one of the desert tented camps, which rarely have heating. Warm duvet and blankets, as well as hot water bottles are provided to keep you warm at night when staying in the desert camp.
