This 6-day wonderful trip combine Toubkal ascent and Sahara desert trip to Merzouga sand dunes and Southern morocco. Starting in lively Imlil valley, our Berber guide and crew of muleteers will take you to the summit of Jebel Toubkal, known locally as the Mount of Mountains. In the Toubkal mountains, many excellent hiking trails, charming Berber villages, peaceful valleys, stunning scenery, soaring peaks, and delicious food are just a few of the innumerable and unforgettable experiences to be had here. The highest peak in North Africa, Mount Toubkal is the goal of many adventurous climbers and fit hikers, and the the Atlas Mountains of Jebel Toubkal offer a great outdoor adventure and hiking experiences for the fit and energetic hill-walkers.
Leaving the Atlas mountains, this journey takes you into the Sahara desert and Southern Morocco where you will discover majestic dunes formed by wind-blown sand offering impressive sights and incredible sunsets and sunrises over otherworldly landscape. On the way to Merzouga, you will drive through Todra gorges, the valley of roses and the famous road of the one thousand kasbahs which offers impressive sights of the village architecture and lush vegetation of its green valley-oases.

The trek to Toubkal is rated strenuous to challenging with an average of 5 to 7 hours of hiking per day. The Trek to Mt Toubkal is well within the capabilities of most people and a very reasonable level of fitness and previous trekking experience is required as there are very long ascents and descents, varying from 500 to 1450 metres altitude. The highest altitude on the tour is 4167 metres and the terrain is varied and trails are typically single mule tracks. Though we have outlined average lengths of the walks, it is very important to keep in mind that you are not walking on flat, paved surfaces.
