We booked 2 weeks in Morocco. While Marrakesh was interesting and exciting, we enjoyed far more our trek into the remote High Atlas Mountains with Mouha and his team. Our every need looked after, served great food, the best mint tea in Morocco, and wonderfully informative guided hikes. The stark high Atlas beauty and the beauty of the Moroccan people were brought alive by Mouha. The tents, bed, duvet, and nightly hot water bottles were all prepared and provided by the muleteer and cook team. A week after being home, my wife and I are still glowing about it all. I highly recommend Atlas Sahara Explore.

I thought I’d drop you an email to say what a wonderful trip we had to Morocco.

The hiking in the Atlas Mountains was completely amazing- unbelievably beautiful scenery, a wonderful guide, fantastic food and very comfortable. It really was an incredible experience - somewhat reminiscent of my trek up Kilimanjaro a few years ago but much more comfortable camping and no altitude sickness to deal with. We had amazing weather too. Not too much complaining from the children though the mules did come in handy and my brother’s son was very sick on the second night (not sure what caused it, possibly too much sun) so felt utterly wiped out on our last day which was quite a climb up to 3200m and then a steep descent.
Overall a massive success, thank you very much for your organisation and part in making it such a memorable trip.

We finally reached home yesterday and just wanted to express our thanks in making our Morocco trip an enjoyable and memorable experience. We learned a lot about the country's history, traditions and cuisines from visiting the suggested cities. Trekking the Atlas mountains was a total different experience in itself. All the different terrains and the awe inspiring views from the high altitude were indeed breath taking. Experiencing a camel ride in the sand dunes and sitting on a mule trekking the Atlas terrain is indeed a great topic of conversation!! Setting up camp in the middle of nowhere and having lunch amongst hundreds of sheep and goats was remarkable. I want to take this opportunity to thank Mouha at Atlas Sahara with his patience and positive encouragement to complete the trek !! He went above and beyond our expectations in providing exemplary service. Once the camps were setup, his team made sure that we were comfortable, and were provided meals that were cooked to our liking. Again, I cannot emphasize how much Mouha and his team made this part of the trip an experience we will always cherish. Please convey our appreciation to Mouha and his team for everything they did for us.
